I’ve been taking lessons from Kevin for about 2 months. Before that I’d been kind of aimlessly playing around with guitar. I was playing by myself for about 20 years and basically had no timing and rhythm. I’m not a funk master yet but Kevin has given me tools that have greatly improved my timing and for the first time actually believing that I’m going to do this. Thanks

I started taking lessons with Kevin about a month ago I took lessons when I was a kid, and remember some things, but my hands do not yet so what my head is telling them. Kevin has been great, adjusting to what I already know and adding a lot of music theory, which I never had learned before. Highly recommend Kevin.

I started learning Ukulele with Kevin and then picked up Guitar lately, Kevin has a systematic way of teaching, instead of covering each and every chords, he summarizes them by different shapes, and also their variations, so you can memorize the basics and find their "relative" chords easier. He also taught music theories, how each chord is formed, and if you want to play a specific song, he's also glad to help on finding the exact chord and transfer them into different notes that suits you. Definitely have your notebook ready since there's a lot to learn. The harder thing for myself is with the online class, it's not as efficient as a face-to-face one, I also tend to be less motivated to practise but you ought to just find your own motivation!

Have you ever wanted to learn this wonderful and very humoristic language and culture? Be it you're just travelling because someone told you that they're making the best cheese in the world (which is true!) or you're moving there because someone got you a job (lucky you!) or you just want to learn another language because you're curious. Let me warn you: It is not a modification of the German language, even though there's a few words that might look similar at first glance, but they're pronounced completely different! So, a small country with a huge culture! Ik hoop, tot ziens!

About Chrissy

Originally born in Germany, Chrissy developed a passion for music, language and teaching early on. Right out of High School she helped her mother, who was an educator at that time, write and stage-manage a children's Musical which found great response from the audience. Francesca is wonderful. My son has developed a love of learning piano and reading music. He looks forward to every lesson. I have never had to remind him to practice- he seeks opportunities to share what he is learning and is eager to share his progress with Francesca every week. She is supportive and motivating. I know she loves to develop a love music in her students by her obvious dedication to developing their love and understanding of music.

My 7 year old son won't stop singing so I figured I'd put him in some lessons. She's a good mix of patient and fun while still keeping him on track. I thought it would just be a lot of scales, but she teaches him all aspects about singing/performance and uses his favorite genres to teach them. Excellent instructor!
Andrea D.
I've been working with Francesca for a few months now, and I feel I've grown so much. Prior to this I've sparsely attempted to play instruments, but she has taken her knowledge and passion and been able to pass that on to me while constantly reminding me that one day I will be good. And I believe it! I've come a long way to establish a regular practice routine, still working on it with her, and I have high expectations for the future. I recommend her to my own people and I recommend her to you.
