Dr. Lance is so great with my son! He is so kind and patient and my son really enjoys his lessons with him! I am amazed with the speed at which my son has learned under his instruction. He encourages my son’s curiosity with music and saxophone related things. I’ve started both speaking voice and singing lessons with Lance. My primary goal was to speak with a less nasal voice. Lance does a great job of explaining what is happening mechanically when you produce sound with your voice, and how to manipulate your voice by manipulating muscles in your mouth/throat. He also gave me exercises to help me develop a feel for controlling these muscles, which have been helpful.

I’ve only had 3 lessons so far, and I’ve already had someone tell my that my voice sounds significantly better / less nasal, so I’m very happy with the results Lance has helped me produce so far!

I remember how amazed I was as a child discovering music and the potential that it held and I want to pass that sense of wonder on to my students. I enjoy approaching each lesson with a mindset that fits the students thought process to help them understand music in their own way.

Here's what students can expect from my lessons:
- A personalized approach to music that best suits YOU!
- Learn music that is interesting to you. This can be anything from pop to classical! Remember: this is your musical journey, not mine! :)
- Incorporation of music theory and ear training in every lesson
- Open line of communication at all times between student and teacher

After two years under his instruction, we can, with assurance, say that we have Mr. Herridge to thank for creating an interest in music throughout our home! His musical background and knowledge of instruments makes him a very versatile instructor. However, it’s his sheer love of music that is the most infectious aspect of his teaching. His personalized teaching method tailors to your child’s interests and aptitude. It’s been amazing to see the growth in my kiddos ability to play his instrument. Kyle Herridge is professional, reliable and fun! We couldn’t ask for more!

Piano is maybe the ideal instrument for a beginning musician. One can develop skills and acquire knowledge of music that can used for the rest of his or her life, and can be transferred to any number of other instruments.
I mostly teach beginner piano (most of my students are 6-10 years old), but I can also help those casual players out there who'd like to tighten up their playing, or maybe improve their sight reading.

After studying for several years under Joey Faust, I studied Jazz, Classical Guitar, and Music Theory at TCC in Fort Worth.
