In my class the focus will be to tailor the movement to your specific needs whilst sharing with you all my knowledge to help you grow and achieve your goals.
We will work on your technique as well as your artistry.
A beautiful dancer doesn't only have a strong technique but the ability to embody a character and convey a story through movements.
All my classes are open to all levels, if you are a beginner dancer we will take the time to go in details through every moves, if you are more advanced I will challenge your technique and artistry but most importantly we will have fun sharing our common passion for dance.
I teach all my classes at my home dance studio with high speed internet and with a professional mic for you to be able to hear me clearly over the music.

I’m available to teach private lessons for teens and adults interested in learning to do tap or ballet for the first time, or who want to improve their skills. My strengths are patience, enthusiasm, and an unusual way of approaching dance. I’m not famous or particularly interested in becoming famous, so if that’s your goal, I’m not the right teacher for you. I strongly believe everyone can dance, and should. All bodies can learn to dance and enjoy themselves. Dance should be joyful, about self-expression, and a way of learning about your body and your spirit. Finally, I believe it’s never too late to start learning something new, and your bucket list should not wait until you retire.
About Kristen
I started dance later in life -- tap at 19 and ballet at 31 -- because I was so tall and awkward as a child. It never occurred to me that people my size could be dancers. I fell in love with dance as an escape from a stressful job teaching high school history. I saw such changes in myself the more I

Alexandra was so helpful in communicating the dance to us, breaking things down and explaining the moves, and energy behind them. She helped us rehearse and get ready for the big day so we could enjoy it and feel confident. She’s an absolute professional with a huge career, and never once made us feel out of her league. She was so patient and kept cheering us on to success. My dad and I, would recommend Alexandra 10/10 for any of your dancing needs!!!

I have been teaching dance for over 10 years. In that time I have found that, regardless of what style you are learning, everything is made of a few fundamental principals and components specific to that style. There are only so many ways you can move your feet and body. By understanding these principals & components, you can then put them together in any order with different style to create different dances. By laying the proper foundation, students have an easier time following choreography, learning to apply their own style, and even keeping up with a class. Once a dancer has a foundation to work up on, I introduce new concepts in layers to help dances feel better and develop a nicer aesthetic.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

We learned a wedding dance from Kelly and coming from a guy with two left feet, she did an awesome job guiding us through and teaching us cool choreography to make us look good! Kelly is extremely professional and takes her time understanding what you want to accomplish and teaches at a great pace where you learn while continuing to move forward. Each lesson progressed very nicely while we learned in her home studio. It was a very comfortable space and we nailed down exactly what we were aiming to do. We learned three types of dance: ballroom, tap, and a swing/bollywood hybrid. Kelly guided us through each and made sure we were comfortable and happy in the end. She even cut the three songs together for us! I would highly recommend Kelly as she has a warm heart, great attitude, and is a wonderful teacher!"
