As a bioengineer, chemistry is a cornerstone for so much of what I do on a daily basis. Whether you need help on electron configurations, balancing oxidation states, ionic equilibria or anything in between, I've got you covered. It's easy to understand chemistry when you are learning it from an enthusiastic teacher with a deep understanding of the concepts, and that is precisely what I strive to be.

I majored in Biology at MIT, where I took several courses on general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I had gotten a 5 on AP Chemistry, and I have received 790 on the SAT Chemistry. I also had gotten close to a perfect score on the MCAT Physical Sciences (which includes chemistry). During high school, I also participated in Science Olympiad, where I frequently participated in chemistry events.

Because of the extensive background in chemistry, I am able to break down complex concepts for the younger students and am able to also help college students.

I also always carry around AP Chemistry, SAT Chemistry, or college chemistry practice problems (depending on the students' levels) so that the students can work on the practice problems during the lessons. I also provide them with additional resources and practice problems as needed.

I was the top AP Chem student in my high school class, and received a 4 on the AP Chem exam.

As an electrical & computer engineer, I've had extensive study in chemistry and other core sciences. I can help with conceptual understanding, study techniques, and test prep (including AP exams).

I have taught more than 8,000 science, math, and foreign language lessons and enjoy spreading my enthusiasm for physics, chemistry, geometry, algebra, pre-calculus, French, and other subjects. With a bachelors degree in biology, I have studied a large majority of the natural sciences. I taught high school biology at Tippecanoe Valley High School and had the privilege to inspire the next generation of scientific minds.
